Anoushka Shankar Anoushka Shankar, a British American artist and a sitarist, is most well-known for her musical talents. She is both the daughter and student of Ravi Shankar. She was born in London in 1982 and was a young girl who travelled to London in London and New Delhi. She's performed at many famous venues around the globe. The career of Anoushka doesn't only involve music. She published Bapi The Heart of My Life, in the year 2002. Anoushka, who accompanied her father on his worldwide tour, gained a remarkable quantity of knowledge. In her teenage years she appeared in Carnegie Hall as part of Peter Gabriel's WOMAD and even recorded with George Harrison. In recognition of being a leading musician of Asian Arts, she was given the House of Commons Shield by British Parliament.
